Green Machine Brand Development
Emily acted as creative director on the development of the Green Machine brand. Manufacturer DAYE had a name and a desire to produce a powerful battery line of outdoor power equipment. Along with Robert Holland, Emily began a deep dive into the marketplace to see what identity gaps were missing in the competition. Two brand directions were presented, the selected identity which we coined ‘the disruptor’ was selected and the rest is history. The products were designed by Travis Linter to reflect hardcore military tools. The messaging and tone of the brand are shocking, bold, and outspokenly intense. Green Machine challenges both low voltage power tools and traditional gas equipment.

Sample product videos
The Green Machine product videos are inspired by action movies and Army/Navy. Various fps are combined with quick cuts for dramatic effect to reflect combat scenes.
The Green Machine brand is 2 years in the making— a thoughtful research and design process together with the manufacturer and industrial designer began in 2019 to make the brand what it is today.

Green Machine tools are now available online at The Home Depot with plans to expand in-store soon. It’s been a joy to bring the brand to life and see others using the products and embracing the brand I have poured my heart into. DAYE is a wonderful partner and I look forward to future projects to come!
